The research programme investigated how wearable monitoring technologies can contribute towards supporting active and healthy ageing. The project team at The Open University included Dr Duncan Banks, Dr Caroline Holland and Dr Ana-Despina Tudor. Our collaborators were Age UK Milton Keynes, Carers MK and Samsung UK.
Virtual Reality Research Award, Google, 2016-2018.
The award was given to investigate the pedagogical effectiveness of Google Expeditions (mobile virtual reality field trips). This project was conducted in collaboration with UK’s Association for Science Education, Geographical Association and Field Studies Council.

I was one of the five Principal Investigators on this Wolfson-Trust funded project and led the 3D Immersive Environments Strand at The Open University.
